Ofeilia Meets The Faun Scene (Pans Labyrinth)

The relationship is established between the Faun and Ofelia as
Ofelia's walk into the labyrinth that is followed with darkness gives the audience the impression of danger and this place and the things in it not being trustworthy.

The Faun's introduction is one of mystery, although he is meant to be established as the helper archetype role from Classical Hollywood narrative.

This moves the story forward in the Faun saying this will 'show you your future' - the mystery in the line could suggest danger.
